Increasing “use and throw” products producing lot of waste on the earth such as e-waste, M-waste, p-waste etc. How to control or stop or eradicate such non bio-degradable waste in the future?

Most of the products available in the market such as cell phones, laptops, computers, television picture tubes, electronic components etc.(E-waste); medical “one time used” kits and products, (M-waste); plastic bottles, containers, tetra packs, plastic carry bags (P-waste) are non bio-degradable and they cannot be recycled. Further more, there are certain other things such as ceramic pots, containers, tiles, waste building material, debris, hard cement, etc. which also are non-recycled. Therefore in the near future or so these non bio-degradable products may become very serious. Because as these are not bio-degradable they will remain in the soil. Therefore soil fertility may get affected and hence the soil quality. Only way to destroy is to burn them out. But this will produce toxic gases in the earths atmosphere resulting in air pollution, which may be further added up to the green house gases. Which ultimately leads to Global warming.

To cover up certain areas such as waste management, energy conservation, water conservation, green cover, pollution level, recycling processes, etc. are needed to be tackle on top priority level in order to sustain earth system. Such type of works should be encourage and make available for public. Which is possible by global environment audits.

How can all human endeavors be made to mimic and learn from natural ecological processes that have evolved over billions of years?

Many of the current crises facing humankind (and other species) are due to a belief that humans can operate separately from other species and that we are not merely one species enmeshed in the web of life (albeit with a brain that has evolved slightly more than in other species). We are constantly finding elegant solutions to problems that exist in nature (such as sandworm glues that work under water) but we rarely turn to nature first in seeking solutions to our own human problems. If we were mandated to see if nature had already managed to develop a suitable solution to any new problem, before turning to anthropogenic solutions, then we would be able to avoid falling into new crises. We would also recognize the value of other species and the ecosystems in which they, and we, live. We would find new solutions to old problems (like energy, materials, housing etc.) and we would not create wastes which cannot be fully assimilated by nature.
